The Angel And The Sun
The angel hides her face from the sun,
Its rays too strong and overbearing.
She a thing of beauty, he unwielding, blinding light.
Sun holds out his pale lit hand,
The angel smiles, takes flight and away.
High above cloud, angel and sun do dwell,
Space and dark does separate,
Though she seeks warmth from sun's ray.
Sky lays out it's cold blue scene,
The angel flies, from dark into day.
Dead of night, Sun none to be seen,
Rays out of reach, underwhelming, and weak.
The angel flies far, find light, blinding light.
Angel spreads brilliant white wings,
The angel glides, towards pale arms, blinding sun.
