Part 2 - Transporter Volans
Fitful sleep once followed Star Orion wherever her lay, nightmares of a distant past haunting his night, until Cassie came along. She was his love, and he slept soundly and calmly with her beside him. That was until mornings, where she'd always have some seemingly aggressive method of waking Orion from his new-found deep slumber. This morning she'd chosen a sharp kick to the ribs. Her excitement at leaving this forsaken planet had overtaken her very early on this morning, but she'd decided to allow her man to sleep a little longer than usual. Now awakened, however, his pained grimace turned to a smile as soon as he saw her face. They had to be ready quickly. A look at his watch told Orion that it was 10.30am, which meant they had an hour to get to their flight. They weren't too far away from the spaceport so they weren't all that bothered. They also didn't need to pack, as they were told everything they needed was to be found at the new moon colony. So within twenty minutes, they were out of their door for the last time.
